The San Jose State Marching Band wows on the field
by Brittany Patterson and Jesse Jones Nov 22, 2011 1:24 amThe raw power of the the San Jose State Marching Band can be heard both on and off the field at SJSU home football games. Morphing and spinning, the band floats across the field four or five times each semester, each time performing an original eight- to 10-minute set.
From popular musicals to tributes to pop and rock legends, marching band director Scott Pierson said if you don't like the first show you hear chances are there will be one that you do. Go behind the scenes with the band and take a look at what goes into making these musical experiences.
